Declaration
Now entering the Conceptual-Artist-Creative-Genius phase of my life, where “I derive my livelihood from my creative expression.”

Go Ned Go!!!!!
Ned B.
Thank you, Dawn, for being my cheerleader for so very many years. It is “Go Ned Go!’ (Maybe that’s what people meant when they said I should grow a set of “Go Neds” – not sure of the spelling here and they pronounced it more like “Nads,” but whatever.)
I look up from where I write this at the bare walls of the room where I’m staying in this house that has been left vacant by its owners to see the only wall adornment (besides cobwebs) , a sticky note with the words: BE BOLD
I was in bed by 11 PM last night, but here it is 2 AM and I’m back at my PC, beginning my day, this most auspicious day (‘cuz I said so). Maybe this is what they call the manic phase, because I certainly have had my share of depressive days these last 12 months.
So this day’s like a pivot point, a fulcrum for turning my life around, as I said in my note above, into the “Conceptual-Artist-Creative-Genius” phase of my life. (Creative, no doubt, but we’ll have to see about the Genius part)
I’m thinking of doing a kind of cleaning out the cobwebs, web based (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Blogs) reality show sporadic documentary thingy – while I’m figuring out how to use (leverage) Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Blogs and God knows what else.
I will also be tracking all this manic creativity from my main “center of the cyclone” site imagiNed.com. I finally (at 4 AM this morning) created the icon to represent it. I’ve attached it here, tell me what you think of it: Should be fun, more to come.

I like the colors but think the sole letter “i” doesn’t explain what you’re doing enough.
Ned B.
The “i” is for imagiNed, imagination, ideals, ideas, intelligence, integrity, incontinence (hey, how’d that get in there!?). OK, maybe the “i” is for idiot.
No, the “logo” actually is a fancified version of my website’s favicon. Ideally, the favicon will convey meaning even at its limited size of 16×16 pixels, which mine does with the purity of the white “i” (innovation, intuition, intensity, incontinence…HEY, stop that stream of consciousness crap!).
Ahem, the purity of the white “i” of intent contrasted with a rainbow background of possibilities. Yeah, that’s it.
Heck, that poor, little white “i” has now got more ‘splaining to do than Lucy Ricardo!
Loree W.
Are you meaning to utilize the rainbow for what the general peeps recognize it to be? Are you working in Adobe illustrator and Photoshop or ? I LOVE THE IDEA!!!
Ned B.
Loree, are you asking if I’m worried that people might think: Good God, is he Gay!? Nah, God made gays, and God made rainbows and God made creative, iconoclastic straight guys who like to use the rainbow gradient in Photoshop, along with Gaussian Blur filters, blended pattern overlays and stuff like that. As a self described artist (as in “Conceptual Artist”) I can’t be concerned with what people think about me. I’m just happy that they do.
