My Year of Living Strangerously

Maybe it’s time to start baring my soul to strangers… Not really “baring,” maybe more like wearing one of those peek-a-boo thingies that leave some of the naughty bits covered and some peeking out. What you’re in for, then, is not so much a “soul baring” as a “soul peek-a-boo.” Or maybe it’s time for me to just start being stranger or at least behaving a bit more strangerously. I’m going to start telling people that I’m a make-up artist, because I … (More …)

imagiNed.com renovation underway

New-Website

I’m in the midst of a major reorganization and of all my websites and re-shuffling of content amongst and between them. Many of my web design posts here will be migrated to my web design portfolio site: imagiNed-Web-Design.com. My social justice commentary will go to new website dedicated only to that, Im-agi-Ned.com, and this site, imagiNed.com, will become a repository of my conceptual, funny, silly, zany creations. As I’ve said in the sidebar for the last few months now: I have over … (More …)

Im-agi-Ned.com: where Ned agitates for World Peace and Social Justice

Im-agi-Ned-Featured4

Now that my personal winter is here and I’m shivering and hungry, I still don’t want to be like the (corporate) ant. So I’ve become the busy bee in my business, buzzing between ideas and implementations, bumbling sometimes, but collecting nectar wherever I find it. It’s a sweet life, and I don’t have to suck pre-processed sticky stuff off some aphid’s butt.

April Fool’s Day – two weeks away and I’m splitting

Ned-Buratovich-imagiNed-Biz-Card

April Fool’s Day has always been a sort of second New Year’s Day for me. It provides me with a springtime-fresh start for new initiatives that might have – should have – could have come at New Year’s, but some reason, weren’t ready. Usually that reason is me: Not Ready Neddie. Well, this year is no different. (Last year was different though; last year, April 1st was a hard, sad day, as those closest to me know.) Usually, on April Fool’s Day, … (More …)

Ruins of an earlier era uncovered while excavating for new construction

This earlier incarnation of my imagiNed.com blog (the one in ruins) pre-announces my plans for this imagiNed.com site as it’s finally beginning to be now, years later. (More …)
